I look at all three lists and come up with 4 guys who would have the biggest impact in KC. In no particular order:
1. Eifert. Alex Smith is the QB. Smith loved him some Vernon Davis. Go back and read game highlights people have written about Smith and almost all the big key plays were to Davis. KC needs a big time TE who isn't injured 90% of the time. 2. Tavon Austin. Playmaker. Smith likes to throw short. What better weapon than a full time slot receiver who can take a quick slant to the endzone every time he touches the ball? 3. Star Lotulelei. A DL not from LSU who can actually stop the run and collapse the pocket? 4. Eric Fisher. Did you see who was starting today at the tackle spots? Enough said.

I don't think there's any chance we get Austin. Reid loves McCluster.

Really?
I haven't watched a single snap of him, so I'm fairly uninformed. However, the accounts I've read seem to be consistent in that he's got good size, okay, not great speed, comes out of breaks quickly, and has solid hands. Additionally, most reports have stressed how good his route-running is. |

Some team is going to draft him in the 2nd or 3rd. He's not a game-changer, though, he's somebody who will do well if they play with game-changers. |

As an example (and without watching Keenan, I have no idea if this comparison is valid or not) but Bowe doesn't have elite speed. However, he does possess the qualities I listed and those are some of the primary reasons he's been able to maintain his productivity with the horrific QB play he's been subjected to. |
