I still think the cartel is going to come back into the show at some point. They've been non-existent after Mike and Jesse killed the people at the party. You can't tell me that the ENTIRE cartel was there.

Walt's intelligence is finally being appreciated. His ability to cook is how he defines himself as successful. His skill isn't (really) in robbing trains. To sell his share for $5 million would only then require him to spend that money on new supply. The money matters, but it's not what makes him whole.
