He isn't tackling well for whatever reason. But that's ridiculous that he's not giving effort. Our corners all season have been asked to cover for 5-10 seconds. And qbs still don't throw his way. Our standards have gotten a little ridiculous. Five years ago, Marcus Cooper was targeted the minute the ball was snapped. That's what a corner looks like when a qb puts a target on your back.

Our pass rush is the worst it's ever been since peters has been here. Our safety help is the worst it's ever been. I can forgive him if he can't guard receivers on an island for 10 seconds consistently. Yeah, his coverage is down, but it's still excellent considering what he's asked to do. Sorry, don't buy for a second that he's loafing in coverage. Too cocky to want to get beat.

I remember what our defense looked like Warfield and bartee. No thank you.

He's a weak tackler, but we got straight ****ed by the refs at the end of that game, the same we did against Oakland. I wish he would have shoved that flag down the ref's throat.

Being a weak tackler would suggest that he actually attempts to make a tackle.

You are right though, it was rinse and repeat by the refs until they got the outcome they were directed to have.

Were all of those penalties during the 4th Q goal line stand legit, or did the refs **** them?

If the refs went full Oakland mode again, I can see why Peters would just be so pissed that he basically said **** it.
I thought they were legit but a bit ridiculous considering the penalties really wouldn't have changed the outcome of the plays especially the one Peters was mad about.

Those holding penalties looked dead on, looked like a horny dog humping your leg.

Thank you Marcus...

Dear Marcus Peters,

Thank you for acting like the dumbass that you truly are. While today's game kind of helped screw up our draft spot and will most likely get you a fine and suspension from both your team and the NFL, you truly made the game entertaining.

Thanks again and happy holidays, Marcus!

Sincerely,

Jets (and Raiders and Chargers) fans

He would make a great Steelers, Eagles or patriots player.

Amazing talent. Lockdown corner.

I would trade him to one of those teams. He hurts my feelings and makes me blush.

I don’t care about feelings. I care that he has sucked for most of this year though.
