Jackson?

Pioli could not find any one to trade down with? *sigh* A pity. We're in trouble.

Just ****ing super.
It's not about trade value, it's about finding out that some of these guys don't NEED trade value because they're FIT INTO WHAT WE'RE DOING.

Tyson Jackson is in INFINITELY better use of the #3 pick than a ****ing inside linebacker.

Yeah, we should have drafted Eugene Monroe, right? I guess I'm missing how a LEFT tackle helps the RIGHT side of the line.

We need LB's, and I'm guessing we'll get them at some point. Drafting an ILB at #3 overall is STUPID.

Because lord know we could have fixed the RIGHT side of the line at #3, right?

What? Who were you going to take at #3? Maclin or DHB? Let me guess, you're going to suggest taking Crabtree would have helped the vertical passing game.

A 2-gap defensive end that can hold the point of attack and free up LINEBACKERS to get sacks is an essential piece of fixing the pass rush. Read up on the 3-4, you might feel better.

Why the **** should Scott Pioli, with his 3 Super Bowl ring, give one flying ****ing shit about who Herm Edwards drafted? For all we know, the reason we set a "standard of low" as you put it is because Dorsey, Tank, McBride, and Hali ALL SUCK ASS. Get over it. JFC.

And we pick a 3-4 DE, a guy that is meant to be a speed bump, a pile of flotsam, at the #3 spot?

**** me running.
Baltimore lucked out and damn that team is stacked for the next 10 years. Wow.

thing is, our linebackers are servicable, something you can't say about the DL. if we'd gone into the season with them we would've gotten run the f over all over again. When I think about it, there were a TON of quality olb's in this draft, maybe we were hoping one would slide later. You can't say that about 3-4 de's. Got some real physical guys, must be depending on scheme to get sacks next season, I can only hope we get some good 3-4 lb's next year.

I'm pissed. We should have drafted somebody that we can shoehorn onto our team regardless of how he fit. I mean, seriously. Mel Kiper, Jr. and Todd McShay both had Jackson lower on their big board than 3. It just makes no sense.

Now we're stuck with a player that fits perfectly into what we're transitioning to. That sucks. I would have much rather had another OLB or another QB or another WR.

/sarcasm (obviously?)

I can't ****ing believe it but I agree with Saccogoo.

This was a ****ing horrific draft. Pioli and Haley decided to turn their back on the existing young roster. They decided to **** the Chiefs and do it their way.

Personally, I'm ****ing pissed. The Chiefs could have had Sanchez, Unger, Urbick, Murphy, Ingram, Ellison and Louis to shore up their offense for YEARS.

Instead, they have some questionable guys at DE, a questionable CB (**** ME; like Flowers, Carr and Leggett are somehow inadequate?) and a ****ing right tackle that was on NO ONE'S radar.

Pioli better know something. Otherwise, he's going to look more foolish than Carl Peterson.

At least Peterson drafted a Hall of Famer in his first draft.

You're ****ing stupid.

Who gives a rat's ass what the guy has to say?

He's a 5 tech taken at #3 overall.

He better be the baddest mother****er on the planet on the field or he's a complete bust.

Anyone know what happened after his Soph. year to cause such a drop in sacks? Going from 10 one year to 8.5 combined over the next 2 is quite a drop.

Scheme change? Fluke?

Possibly the loss of 3 DT's who were drafted in the NFL.

Yeah, I think he took on an increased focus from opponents year-over-year as he went from the least-talented defensive lineman on the team to the most-talented defensive lineman on the team.

You know dane's grumpy ass over reacts to everything.

Like it or not we are basically starting from square 1. Herm tried to build and failed ****ing miserably, thats why he's not around.

If it takes a few years, then so be it, we are going on 40 ****ing years anyways. So what if its a few more.
