The vets hardly play the last pre-season game anyway. Since this has been one long pre-season, might as well rest all the starters and see who can win a roster spot next year.

If he can play then play. Doesnt matter if he hurts it further this year or the begin of next year. IF its going to happen, its going to happen (serious injury). You can limit their plays i guess, but for what? So he can play a few more games next year. We wont be contenders next year either, but we can play spoiler. lol

My heart says yes, lets sit them, especially Charles.
My head says no, let them take their knocks & gain valuable experience. Besides, i cant think of a single precedent in the NFL for sitting starters for the last 3 games on a non-playoff team. Any player worth having would be absolutely irate about it. |
