Which drugs have you used recreationally?

There’s a debate in DC right now that’s got me a bit curious about the people’s drug use.

I’m going to play fast and loose on what is considered a drug and how they’re grouped/separated. If you have tried any of these options, even once, please note it in the poll options.

Also, feel free to discuss anything drug related as non-politically as possible.

The 2 times I was the MOST ****ed up in my life were these….

2) Some fire ass double stacked dirty hearts (mdma), between my wife, and the few friends we had over we drank about a gallon of mushroom tea. That shit was ****ing WILDDDDDDD!!! We were all seeing the same shit, a red net over all of us, kitchen wall disappeared, all kinds of ridiculous visuals. That’s shit was off the chain.

1) my wife, myself, and 2 friends. The most pure x I’ve ever had, double stacked omegas. Cocaine, and Special K. We were rolling our asses off, and doing little bumps of coke, and K mixed. About 4 am I put out 4 HUGE lines. Waaaaaaay too much special k. We each did our last line, and it was a ****ing doozy!! It was obviously too much. I had my head laying on the kitchen table, and couldn’t pick it up. Was sweating so much it was rolling off the edge of the table. One of our friends crawled over to the dogs water bowl and was splashing water on his face. I remember thinking, I wonder if he feels like a dog. Then all of a sudden I could see the whole room from above, even myself. Totally freaked me out. I thought we all overdosed and died. No clue how long I was in that state. Eventually my wife was able to get up and get us water. Drinking that brought me right out of the k hole. Shit was bonkers. This was about 20 years ago, and I still remember it vividly. Definitely the most ****ed up on drugs I’ve ever been.

Edit: going to Jamaica in 7 weeks, and the dispensary I go to there has shroom candy bars. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of those. Gonna be tripping balls while swimming! Mi cyaan wait!

Obviously it can just like most any drug out there, but I feel like the vast majority of people who do coke are just looking to keep partying; whereas, I feel like meth is absolutely a life-ruiner type of drug. I am so shocked that such a large percentage of the people who voted even considered trying meth.
I was born in St Louis, but my parents split up, and my mom moved out of the city when I was about 12. Lived in Valley Park with my mom until I was about 15 when I moved back to the city with my dad. In Valley Park, you couldn’t get coke. Well at least nobody I knew could, but meth was plentiful. I did way too much of it. My best friends sisters boyfriend was a big meth dealer. Dude had enormous amounts of it. We did it a lot as teens. A couple people I grew up with never got out of it. I was only doing it because it’s all I could get. Once I met my wife, I was pretty much done with that shit. Not done doing drugs obviously, but meth just wasn’t my thing despite doing a bunch of it. Coke, and especially extasy was my drug of choice, besides weed. And it was difficult to quit using those when the time came. Looking back on my life, I can’t believe I made it out alive.

Nowadays it’s alcohol, and weed. But looking forward to eating some shroom candy bars in Jamaica next month.

Loved Adderall. Gotta wonder how all of these people are running around having scripts to addy for decades. How does that not take a toll on your heart & mind? Sure does feel good. I feel entrenched in whatever I am doing, which is very healthy mentally but sometimes there is weird brain fog even though I feel like I'm in perfect clarity.

Like alcohol. Makes me confident but at a cost. Out of any drug it makes me feel the worst the next day.

Did not prefer valium/benzos. Just made me kind of veg out. Calm but I'm already calm.

Very much disliked shrooms. Did not like the hallucinations and then sudden visions/colors I would see.

HATED weed/cannibas. Makes me just want to sit and look at shit. Then I get paranoid and think people are looking at me. After all of that I then just want to sleep. Quite possibly the worst drug I've ever taken.
Yeah, I’d say after extasy (which is GOD level for sex), adderall is second best for extremely long sex sessions. Well, for me anyway.

When I first came out to California, a guy I was living with invited me to a rave party.

I told him I didn't like drum machine music.

He told me at least half the chicks would be on Ex.

Turned out, I liked rave parties...

A quarter pound was quite the bargain. Back then we didn't always smoke the best stuff though. One summer some friends from down the street brought a bunch of ditch weed back from vacation. From Iowa! Some real headache weed. My parents went on some trip so while they were gone these guys brought their weed down and we compacted into layers using the Trash Smasher. What a bunch of idiots.

The days of getting the Frisbee and deseeding your weed. Of course you haven't ever really had the full pot experience until you've had a seed explode from a joint into your face.
