Over the last 20 years, sea levels have risen an average of 3.2 mm per year. That doesn't sound like much, but it is twice the average of the preceding 80 years.

That's probably a bit dramatic. F5 tornadoes are actually pretty rare. If you have one in a year that's a lot. Of course it doesn't take anything near an F5 to completely devastate an area.

Dude, it's indisputable that the average temp has been rising. What is causing this rise is up for debate, but it is happening. As water gets hotter, it expands. Nobody is manipulating the numbers and I'm not saying that this is caused by man's activities.

I'm truly amazed at how many people honestly believe that humans have absolutely nothing to do with global warming. The earth goes through natural heating and cooling periods, but as an intelligent being who has unlimited knowledge and understanding at our fingertips could simply research how much CO2 is being added to our atmosphere by humans burning fossil fuels and understand that higher levels of CO2 equate to higher temperatures. But, we shouldn't trust scientists. Let's continue to listen to politicians and pastors who aren't scientists.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to some nice thunderstorms. And the Masters. And playing more golf. And baseball. And a good pot roast. Life is good.
