Mangino to return to coach Colorado??
http://www.sbnation.com/college-foot...-search-rumors
Former Kansas Jayhawks head coach Mark Mangino could make a return to the sidelines at Colorado, according to a report. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Former Kansas Jayhawks head coach Mark Mangino could return to the sidelines at Colorado, based on a report from Tom Deinhart of the Big Ten Network. According to Deinhart, Mangino and Colorado have met already and a second meeting between the two parties is in the works. In seven years with the Jayhawks, Mangino was able to take a program that went 2-10 in his first season and lead them to heights rarely seen in Lawrence. Mangino led Kansas to a 50-48 record while at Kansas and led the Jayhawks to four bowls, winning three of them. Mangino's best season with Kansas was in 2007, when the Jayhawks went 12-1 and finished the season with a victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies in the Orange Bowl. Mangino was let go in 2009 after an internal investigation that showed that he verbally abused his players repeatedly. After a barrage of negative articles from the national media, Mangino and the Kansas administration agreed to a buyout and Mangino resigned in December of that year. |

He could definitely bring CU out of obscurity, (as he did with KU.) but i find it unlikely that he could bring them to the annual competiveness of the top of that conference.

That large man can coach football, and that's all that really matters.

It just seems like CU won't spend the money necessary to compete. Sadly that is what college FB is all about now. The big spenders usually win far more than the small spenders.

ill tell you why. first off, our athletic facilities are not grade A. theyre pretty sh# tty compared to all the other pac12 schools ive seen. another reason can just be contributed to the directors just not doing what needs to be done or giving the hc the resources to recruit legit players. & another reason is, dont take me as racist when I say this but CU is like 95% white, its cold, top level "black" kids dont want to go play there theyd rather go to a better program whered theyd have a more fun experience. Recently CU has recruited all the kids that can't play at top level programs so they commit immediately to CU. and the few top recruits we have gotten have busted bigtime. its all fucked when it comes to CU football. At least tad is turning our basketball team into a top pac12 team. thats exciting

Man, I forgot just how embarrassingly gigantic that fat bastard was.
He makes Weis look svelte.
