I had no idea biker gangs, the violent kind, were a real thing. Most guys I see that ride a motorcycle are just a big fat bald guys who try to look hard, but are really the biggest pussies in the world. Contrary to popular belief, Wearing black, having a goatee and driving an extremely annoying loud sounding two wheel land barren vehicle does not make you a bad ass.

And I agree, just like so many other ways people dress to look tough, or try to be identified with some other people who might be tough, it doesn't make them tough or a bad ass, it usually just makes them look dumb.

About 25 years ago the wife and I had the pleasure of living next door to the leader of the Tucson chapter of the Dozen, it wasn't pretty.

I got to watch him beat his baby mama on a daily basis from my kitchen window.

Didn't get a lick of sleep most nights and never on Friday / Saturday nights.

Woke up to the sound of 20 to 30 Hogs being started in unison just about every morning at at the crack O'dawn.

And no matter what happened in that house no one in the hood would call the cops, and even if someone did, the cops never came. And some crazy shyt went down on a constant basis

Oh yeah, fun times, worst part was my landlord would not let us out of the lease, apparently fearing for your life is not a good excuse to get out of a contract lol.

You are seeing the weekend warriors wannabes. You will know a biker by his patches and his MC affiliation will be broadly displayed on his back. Its not that one biker is a bad ass its the whole they go in groups. All for one and one on all isn't just a slogan. My Party Chief said that you got patches for being aggressive and showing a willingness to mix it up. They didnt trust you if you didn't violently jump in to protect your brother. You may be the biggest bad ass ever but you will have to fight five who dont play fair.

So why aren't there Ford Fusion gangs? Or Toyota Camry gangs? I don't get it. Why is riding a stupid loud sounding bike needed? Seems like driving in a car would have much more benefits for criminals. The ease of concealing drugs, fire arms, stashing bodies in the trunk, protection if rammed by another vehicle or attacked by a person, etc. A motorcycle has none of these benefits. Harley's aren't really even that fuel efficient, some of them only get like 33 mpg.
