I think I am also biased because I have an older brother that was big into Sabbath, Ozzy, Judas Priest, Van Halen etc. at the time. KISS just didn't seem very cool compared to those groups.

That explains oh-so much. 80's KISS was pure shit, though I do like 'Unmasked' because it's rather unique among the discography.

That's because KISS wasn't cool anymore at that time. They were all the rage for a several year stretch in the 70s and it was more the razzle-dazzle with the costumes and make up and marketing than their music, which for the most part has not stood the test of time.

The whole list sucks. When I voted in the poll, I voted for the one I would leave on the radio the longest before I changed the channel. I went with KISS and they'd probably last 15 seconds or so depending on traffic.
