I'm not huge into glam, I own Electric Warrior and think it is a remarkable album. But I think you have to go with Bowie in this poll. He also helped to completely redefine Mott The Hoople's sound.

I recommend checking out Tyrannosaurus Rex, The pre-T. Rex Marc Bolan. It is basically just him with an acoustic. Very bluesy and rock and roll. I prefer that to the electric stuff.

I think KISS sucks.

I love the old stuff, but Gene has pretty much soured me on the "KISS phenomenon", so to speak.
