I'm "at peace" with a team that makes the playoffs regularly with some shot to go further. While I realize we've never actually seen the Chiefs "go further," the same could've been said for the Royals and then lo and behold. I want a better team but I can live with one that at least keeps it entertaining enough for me to care. And this season, pre-Mahomes, a lot of people had completely written off anyway. 2017 was never a win-now season and that explains why we didn't draft for 2017 "need" in either of the first two rounds.

And curse you but I was never remotely "at peace" with anything Pioli or Cassel.

I actually have a ton of confidence that the Chiefs are 100% committed to mahomes next year. If that doesn't happen, that's when I'll take out the pitchfork. But not necessarily this year.

I've hate-watched every Chargers game this season. They have no quality wins at all. The Giants, Raiders and Broncos are all garbage, the Bills randomly decided to bench their starting quarterback solely for their game against the Chargers, and the Cowboys are a depleted team right now.

They will still back their way into a division title and probably a playoff win just because San Diegans can't have nice things. We all should have seen it coming that the Spanos family's team would turn into a "winner" the minute they got to LA. **** Alex Smith and Andy Reid for making it possible.
