I use and highly recommend Zing Zang bloody mary mix, lots of flavor. I never see it at the grocery store, only in liquor stores around here.
FYI, I see that Boulevard will be releasing their Amber in sixpacks 'about midmonth'. It's been part of their 12 pack mixer since midsummer, but they've finally got production up to where they can sell it by itself. If you like Fat Tire and other Ambers, give this one a try.

That looks ****ing outstanding!
Thank God for Boulevard. I miss Alaskan Amber already, and I still have a sixer of it tucked away for a rainy day down here. Hopefully Bearcat or Slayer will be able to smuggle another 12 pack of it on the plane on their way back from Seattle tomorrow. In any case, Boulevard has bridged the gap for me. Just ****ing delicious beer. Their sampler packs are a particular favorite of mine, as it's the first I've seen of a mixed 12 pack that wasn't straight up build your own. So my first 12 pack, I loved everything in it except the Zon. The Bully Porter was an exceptional surprise as I've never found a Porter that I was fond of. Today I went out and picked up another one that was priced particularly well and figured it was a good deal even with 2 shitty bottles of Zon in there. Well, after drinking 5 of these bad boys and working my way through the box I discover there is no Zon! Instead it's Bob's 47 Oktoberfest, and this is an outstanding brew! This whole box is full of win. I really need to do the Boulevard tour one of these days. I'm really becoming a fan of their beer. |

Zon is my least favorite beer that Boulevard makes. But my beef is with the style moreso than Zon itself. I'm just not a fan of witbier.

Yeah, me neither apparently. You know much more about beer than I do, but that Zon was garbage.

Zon actually won the gold medal at the Great American Beer Fest last year in the witbier category. So it sounds like your beef is with the style itself, too.

Yay indeed!
Regarding the Irish Ale: There's something about an Irish Ale meeting Missouri water that just ****ing works.
