You made two 300+ page diarrhea filled threads about how Geno was the real deal. You don't have to say it. You insinuated it for months.

there is absolutely a franchise qb in this draft. I believe that. Im not sure he is worthy atm of the first overrall pick, as in most number ones are expected to be ready to play immediately. I dont see that.
I think if there is a prospect that gets the Rodgers treatment, and can sit for a year or two, ala, kaepernick, then you could have a franchise qb. From what I have read and seen, not many think there are or is a day one franchise savior in this draft.

I'm still right about all of those things. I never ****ing said he was bust proof. I didn't even hint at it. You're the reerun who thinks that's what I said. It makes you look like the reasonable one. That would be called a "fallacy," Mr. Logic. |

it sets you back, because instead of moving forward, like jax should of been had they hadnt missed, then you are drafting top 5 again for the next 5 years. The goal is not to be drafting top 5 every year. Thats how you build success. If you are constantly drafting top 5, you are constantly failing. Starting over with new coaches, new front office. I am pulling for you guys that this is the last regimen change that you do for a while.

So joeckel has future hall of game potential? That's what we were told in this thread to expect from the 1.1 pick in the draft

We've been the dirty toilet hole of all nfl teams the last decade or so. They want to get respectable fast, which is great. I fully understand that.

SNR. you guys are in the perfect positon to take a qb number one. He could sit for a year or two and learn. I think they SHOULD take them. I also know that Andy Reid is arrogant enough to think that Alex Smith is, for one, good enough to carry a team. Hence his, HALL OF FAME, quote in regards to Alex Smith.
He believes that he can take a qb later and develop him. Shrugs. Personally, to me drafting Geno, is the way to go. It is not going to happen.

The only difference is he works in the NFL, so he develops unnatural biases and weird obsessions with certain players. Alex Smith is one of those guys. He also has to worry about record, and so he'll occasionally go the chickenshit route and draft offensive linemen instead of taking a risk and drafting a QB. If he "played it safe" like that in his early days in Philadelphia, the Eagles never would have been rebuilt, and it's tough to know if he'd even be coaching in the NFL at ANY level, not just head coach. |
