Looks to me after researching the subject that lazar realized he could make some bank after he came out with his story, so he decided to jazz it up, and run with it.

There's no question in my mind that *if* there was a known alien presence of any kind here, that the people in power globally would do everything they possibly could to hide that from the public. For the simple reason that it would be a devastating challenge to the fundamental beliefs of 90% of the world's population. While I believe that a certain segment of us are 'wired' in such a way as to accept such a reality, I think it would be virtually apocalyptic to the rest, the end of the world as they know it. I don't even want to think about the impact it would have on societies across the globe.

Note the word 'if'. I am not saying a coverup is happening. I don't have any idea if there's anything to cover up. All I'm saying is that I believe the people in charge would, if faced with this reality, believe that covering it up would be the best course of action for the world as a whole. And I agree with them, if that's in fact what they believe.

Although, that said, I would want to know.

That's exactly what I'm getting out of it. The history is the best part. I really get a kick out of the guy with the funky hair and fake tan that cannot pronounce the word "astronaut".

Who is he? What is his background? He tries to sound so smart, yet his grammar is terrible. He makes the show though. Does he have have books out? If so I have to read them for shits and giggles.

Yep. Whether any of the alien stuff they lay out for the audience is bullshit or not, it's awesome to learn about so many mysterious places on our planet. There really is a lot of mystery about our planet's history, and it really makes me wonder about things. Which is really fun. I'd actually love to visit a lot of the places they discuss on the show. I think I'm doing myself a disservice if I don't ever get to see some of these things. They're god damn remarkable. A lot better than the strip malls and gas stations I see on a daily basis where I live.

Part of me leans more toward thinking that human civilization was probably around much earlier than any of us think. It wouldn't shock me at all if one day we learned an early society was highly advanced and for one reason or another collapsed...

Started watching this a few weeks ago. Interesting but holy shit- talk about reaching! The one I liked most so far has been the 'Underwater Worlds'. One of the lines in the ep stated something like: "In certain ways, we know more about space and the cosmos than we do our own oceans". If aliens did exist, the deep-sea would be a great place to hide out. That's fo sho..
