Yeah, once I stepped away from the game and came back to it, it was no problem, lol. I think I was starting to see cross eyed at that point due to the binge play.

Until Dawn - PS4
Until Dawn review (PS4 Exclusive):
So I picked this up last week as a "wtf" type game. Just for shits and grins to help pass the time until Metal Gear and Mad Max were released. On one hand, I'm glad I did. On another, it was a one shot type deal which disappointed the hell out of me. Here's a quick rundown... Until Dawn is a "point and click" adventure game much like Quantic Dreams' recent games or a Telltale effort. The game was under development for quite some time I guess. It was originally slated for a last-gen release but they pushed it back and did some serious upgrades to show off the PS4's abilities. It did succeed on that count. The graphics, music and atmosphere are wonderful. Gameplay, however... Well let's delve into that a bit. If you're a huge horror movie fan from the late 90's and early 2000's then you'll love this game. It's your basic horror film brought to life. This thing is an 8 hour interactive movie. You play as 8 different characters that are all in their early 20's or late teens. They all are exceedingly attractive and you're trying to keep them alive. Of course they're there on the one year anniversary of a horrible accident that took the lives of two of their friends. The group notices things aren't quite right and sure enough, a serial killer is on the prowl. Jump scares, Quick Time Events and more jump scares dissolve into huge "What The **** is Happening" moments when the storyline goes tits up near the end. Don't get me wrong, it does get the adrenalin pumping a lot but you eventually know when you're being set up after a while. The game is very well put together, very polished and entertaining. It can get very gory on occasion and there's a certain aspect of the game that I really appreciated. It tries to assess what makes you really freak out by having you ask several questions via several psychiatrist visits. It then utilizes that info against you and it works well. Like I mentioned above, it's a beautiful game full of beautiful music and beautiful people with awesome asses in yoga pants. There's one huge drawback... Once you've finished he game, you can go back and get the alternative endings (which I did) but other than that, there's no replayability whatsoever. That's disappointing at AAA prices. I'll give this one an unspectacular yet above average 6. Wait for this bitch to go on sale or rent it if you can. You'll finish it in 8-10 hrs, easily. It's a decent game but it could've been great.

As someone who loved the cheesy 90s and 00s teen slasher movies, Until Dawn was a ton of fun. We played it with two other couples, and had a blast.
