Gunman opens fire inside Los Angeles International Airport Terminal
LAX shooting: Gunman opens fire inside Los Angeles International Airport Terminal 3 At least two people were injured in California after a gunman opened fire with a rifle at a security checkpoint. An evacuation is underway and the LAPD is on the scene. BY NANCY DILLON AND JOE KEMP / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS PUBLISHED: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2013, 12:45 PM UPDATED: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2013, 1:58 PM PrintSHARE THIS URL: KTLA At least two people were shot when a gunman opened fire inside a busy terminal at Los Angeles International Airport. At least two people, including a TSA worker, were shot when a gunman opened fire inside a busy terminal at Los Angeles International Airport, according to a report. The shooter apparently confronted the security worker before firing a round in the man's leg and squeezing off several shots inside Terminal 3 about 9:30 a.m., NBC Los Angeles reported. At least one other person was shot before authorities managed to nab the suspect, who was reportedly armed with a rifle. “There looks to be a rifle on the floor guarded by a police officer,” one person tweeted with a picture of the weapon. It was not immediately clear how badly the two people were hurt or if any other victims were shot in the gunfire. The victims are 25 and 29, NBC LA reported. One person was being treated for a sprained ankle. CBS Police ran a man out of LAX after a shooting Friday. Brian Adamick, 43, told the Los Angeles Times he was about to board a flight for Chicago at Gate 32 when he saw a crowd of people running away from the security area. He followed a group of people through an emergency exit outside. “While I was on the tarmac, I heard two gunshots from the same area where the people had been running and screaming,” he told the paper. He said he boarded a bus that came later to pick up the stranded passengers and boarded with a TSA agent bleeding from his ankle. “I got shot, I’m fine,” the agent told him. “It looked like it was straight out of the movies,” he told the newspaper. There's disagreement with TSA's existence, philosophies, and protocol. And I concur with a lot of the disagreement.
But then there's respect for the person who just went to work on the wrong day in the wrong place. |

Negative, tsa is a joke, the employees and administration is a joke, the employees know that their employment is nothing more than another form of welfare. They chose to take a tax payer funded job knowing that it is nothing more than another form of a gov't handout, I have no sympathy for such an individual and neither should anyone else in this country. Such a fraudulent waste of tax dollars should be criminal and anyone partaking in it should be charged with theft.

Nothing like innocent people dying to get people jumping on their soap boxes.

They already do it.
They pull 90 year old granny over to give the impression to your crazy ass and the bad guys that they are randomly selecting people. See how that works? My brother looks like he could be Arabic or of not American decent, though he is not. He travels a lot and travels extremely light and with 1 way tickets quiet a bit. He regularly gets pulled aside for additional search. |
