They have no clue what's about to happen. Some of them are still so consumed with what'll happen with Cousins that they aren't looking at what they're about to deal with. |

It's going to be so weird going back to the way it was before the Alexian Invasion. Good...but weird.

This guy will get his answer during the first gamer of 2018. Poor bastards.
Posted 3 minutes ago Thanks for starting the conversation. I feel your responses are genuine, but also harbor a bit of 'butt hurt' from his playoff performances of late. Either way, it's interesting getting some insight into what Alex Smith has been like. Either way, to my question: When Kaepernick took over in SF Vernon Davis (ironically) noted the big difference between Kaep and Smith was that Smith needed open receivers to throw in and would avoid tight window type throws, whereas Kaep took more risks, which based on the talent level of the team paid off. Have you seen Alex Smith evolve in that area? Is he making a few more tight window throws then he did earlier in his career?

Alex, for all his faults, has a remarkable ability to tread water in nearly any given situation. We've seen it during his time in KC: Dwayne Bowe, Jamaal Charles, Anthony Fasano and a shit OL or Ty Hill, Kelce, Kareem and a plus OL- it doesn't matter much. The guy will lead your offense to somewhere in between 22-25 PPG on average for the season. He'll instantly help their defense by not turning the ball over and the stability could lead to some competitive play and a few playoff berths. Long term I think the move will be detrimental to their chances at winning a SB, but that team is starved for some consistent post season action. IIRC, the last time they made the playoffs was 2012 with RGIII? When was the last time before that? It's been quite a while since DC's seen sustained success. |

A lot of posters there are liking how he's a high character guy and are praising his charity work. Will he be able to win there? It remains to be seen, but he has the track record that says he's capable of doing it. Last edited by JENKINSWINS; 02-01-2018 at 01:08 PM.. |

I hope he does well, nice guy, just never wanted him starting for my team. I think the explanation of him as the mean from above is a great moniker.
