Chiefs Abe Elam visits Chiefs

Veteran safety Abe Elam visited the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a league source.

Elam recently visited the Tennessee Titans along with fellow free agent safety Gibril Wilson.

Elam, 30, started every game last season for the Dallas Cowboys.

He recorded 68 tackles and one forced fumble.

Elam has previous stints with the Cleveland Browns, New York Jets and spent his rookie year in Dallas.

He has 373 career tackles, five sacks and three interceptions with 17 pass deflections and eight forced fumbles.
