Really, my biggest issue was with our first half game plan against Keenum.
I can understand not sending the house because you really have no idea what you're getting yourselves into with a rookie. The problem was, we were getting absolutely no pressure AND we were having issues covering down field because of it. We were consistently giving up big plays in the passing game because.. we were afraid to give up the big play by blitzing? After the second or third 40+ yard pass I thought we should have brought some more guys to get pressure. I was pleased that we eventually did that in the 2nd half; just a bit annoyed that we didn't adjust sooner. |

Case Keenum was a very good QB at Houston. He's very mobile. The Chiefs had absolutely no game film on him. Instead of sending his pass rushers after him to start the game, Sutton played it "safe", watched him play, then went after him in then second half. Had he done that in the first half, it's possible that Hali and Houston would have tired substantially. At the end of the day, it's not about stats for the defense, it's about the points on the board. |

Our RG was playing tackle against Indy. Franklin was back last week against Washington though so he'll play against KC.

I still don't know what the hell happened against the Browns. I suspected Campbell may have some success because he's capable, but he looked down right dangerous at certain points.

If Lewis didn't **** up the flea flicker this game could have been completely different. I know Sean smith got beat but Lewis messed his assignment up

They've now said it's 50/50 that Lewis plays. Which means it's 100% certain that Lewis plays.

Jason Campbell and Case Keenam has very nice days against this vaunted chiefs defense... Knowing the Chiefs, they could let this kid stamp his way to Hawaii... |
