Haha, that was my first thought as well.

Phobia seems like a pretty high-quality guy, though, so I could imagine that his message was poignant or cool enough to merit a public thank-you.

No, he's not a high quality guy at all. Haven't you heard? He bans assholes and losers when they break the rules after they have been warned about a thousand times. He's pretty evil, man.
