I saw Kendrick Lewis at IHOP today

Really nice guy. Really hard to not like Kendrick Lewis. Talked to him for awhile. He took his family out just enjoying the evening. Ordered the Pick-a-Pancake Combo with butter pecan syrup, a man's pancake order if I ever saw one. His kids all got the Funny Face Pancake and laughed at how funny the face was. Lewis thought it was funny too.

You all need to stop picking on Lewis. He's a human being who's just trying to make a living like all of us, and somebody out there has to buy pancakes for his kids. If any of you knew the men under those helmets like I saw today, you'd feel the exact same way.

I did taste it. Was kind of like a light oatmeal. Not bad, just not what I expect from a pancake.

Yeah. I like to feel myself getting fatter when eating pancakes.

It's not bad really. I think it would make a decent replacement for a sweet bread. I bet it would rock for a banana and peanut butter sandwich.

I dont care if the guy's the biggest asshole on earth or the biggest humanitarian, if he doesn't produce on the field or in this case and the Cassel's case, a liability..then I don't want him anywhere near the Chiefs. I can't believe the bastard hasn't been benched yet.

Hell I'd love to have Dez Bryant on this team and I'd gladly take all the bullshit that comes with him. He's a stud and can make plays on the field like no one else on this team can at the WR position. Just hopefully he can be good enough off the field to prevent kind of league suspensions.

Now would I bother the guy? No absolutely not. He's with his family and has every right to enjoy himself as me or you would without being harassed by some fan(s), even if his horrid play on the field certainly warrants it, it's still very wrong to act upon it like that jerkoff Texans fan showing up to Shaub's house. That crosses the line by a long mile and if I were Shaub I probably would have taken things into my own hands. Don't **** with the guy's family or personal life. We have no idea who these people are outside of the football field or what daily stresses they're under or where they came from.

Now if he plays well and you want to give the guy props I think there's a time and place to give the man props. But players can tell if they're bad play is the talk of the town or not. They listen to the radio even when they're told no to. They're all sports fans just like you and I, and they all watch Sportscenter just like the rest of us (for those who still watch it and can stand it). When no one is out in public giving them props it's either because (A) you **** up a lot on the field and cause the team to lose and people scold at you because of your play, pretty much your public appearance is writing on the wall at this point that people are starting to root against you. OR (B) you don't play a lot to start with or your a practice player and out of football pads and jersey no one would recognize you.

But back to the point. I don't care if he's Mr Prince Charming, the guy sucks and doesn't deserve a roster spot and can't leave KC soon enough. He's made a handfull of plays since he was drafted here getting a lot of starting time. He still plays out of position a lot and takes some of the worst tackling angles I've ever witnessed on a football field, so bad it almost looks as if he's not trying. Oh but he's trying alright, he just sucks a fat one.

My dog is now staring at the microwave with a sad longing. He begs to differ.
