Could anyone suggest a lawyer for me

I need a good personal injury attorney. My job where I got injured is being very evasive about wanting to give me workman's comp. My injury will require therapy and possibly surgery so I need that covered I also could sue the homeowner where this happened. I'd appreciate any help from you guys.

Why were you at this house in the dark of night? Did they know you were coming to their house?

This exact event crossed my mind yesterday when the wife was calling around to see if anyone delivered (of course not.)

I know someone who used this firm for a personal injury situation and she was really happy with them. Typical "you don't pay unless we get you money" setup. Ideally you can find someone who used a lawyer themselves though, and get a first hand review.

These people were more concerned with the pizza and 2 liter I dropped than if I was alright, great people I tell you. Then they proceeded to salt their sidewalk and stairs with me laying there.

As much as I hate our litigious modern society, if you order pizza you do have a responsibility to make sure the way they're going to come is safe.

Who cares what your work thinks or acts like. You go to the hospital and turn it in as a work related injury. Case closed that is how it works. If you are looking to get rich because you fell on ice that is on you. If you are looking to recieve the normal benefits of workmans comp you are justified.

I used to have 2 delivery Pizza places and had a case exactly like this. She recieved full workmans comp benefits and 0 in her suit against the home owner as she has responsibility to exercise due care in the conditions described.

All my joking aside, this is spot on. Work comp laws vary by state, but they are very specific and no company can decide not to comply with them.

I don't think it is any different in Missouri than Idaho. Your work has little to no control over your ability to recieve benefits. Workmans comp will investigate if either the homeowner or your work can show the possibility that you may be trying to commit fraud. Even then they will not spend any time trying to investigate. they will simply pay the bills and benefits.
