Could anyone suggest a lawyer for me
I need a good personal injury attorney. My job where I got injured is being very evasive about wanting to give me workman's comp. My injury will require therapy and possibly surgery so I need that covered I also could sue the homeowner where this happened. I'd appreciate any help from you guys.

I have. Was moving some things in the stockroom in my old job and had a crate fall and crack me across the bridge of the nose.

Went to the ER and got stitches above my nose and my eyebrow. Signed some paperwork at the ER. Went back to work the next day.

Never heard another thing about it.

Well, I guess I didn't file, I just went to the company workman's comp doc both times, so the bills went straight to them.
First time, I as young, working at a Boston Market, marrying tobasco bottles, and as I popped the little plastic thing over the rim, had a bunch of tobasco squirted in my eyes. Hurt like hell, but funny. They sent me to the doc who rinsed them out and numbed my eyes, which made me feel like a cartoon character the rest of the day.

Last year, working at a school with violent students, a student nearly broke my hand (I thought it actually was broken). Again, went to the wc doc for the X-rays, had it put in a brace, etc.

Unless you "frolicked and detoured" you were injured in the normal duty of your job.
