Could anyone suggest a lawyer for me

I need a good personal injury attorney. My job where I got injured is being very evasive about wanting to give me workman's comp. My injury will require therapy and possibly surgery so I need that covered I also could sue the homeowner where this happened. I'd appreciate any help from you guys.

It's ****ed up to sue the homeowners, I know that you are in a bind. But your employer needs to have the insurance to cover shit like this. I live in Boston and during the winter, salt is tough to even find. You are the one who slipped while on the clock, it's on the employer, if anyone.

Imagine ordering a pizza and the guy falls on your property and you sue them for a large chunk of money, that kinda pisses me off thinking about it. Watch your step in the winter time, sorry. Wear suitable shoes for that.

I guess I can see both sides of this. I've been in the in home service industry for almost 10 years using ladders and everything else year round outside in the Midwest and have only been hurt twice and it was my fault on one of them. I've carried 28' ladders down slopes in the snow with no issue because Ive always been prepared with non slip boots and pay attention...but if its snowy/icy out for a few days its common sense to shovel a walkway so its safe. Especially if you are expecting vititors.

You can bet that if I get to a home that is too icy, I ask the homeowner to put salt out while I work inside. There has only been one customer that wouldn't do that and I cancelled the job.

There is a certain amount of responsibility people have as a homeowner and having a safe walkway to the street is one of them..

Has anyone mentioned filing a claim with the homeowners insurance?

This is what insurance is for.

If they jerk you around then bring a lawyer into the mix.
