Had a similar situation with my daughter and her stepfather a few years back. His actions were borderline abuse. Ex-wife defended her husband. I show up unexpected because I live 2 hrs away. Surprise everyone. Make it clear to step father that if he ever touches her again that his quality of life would never be the same. It would involve someone else dressing him, installing a wheelchair ramp on their home, and eating liquid foods.

Apparently he understood the sincerity in my voice, my mannerisms, and the attention to detail. He hasn't touched her since.
