I'm probably going to spend some time finding a market and actually networking in communities before I make a decision. I'd like to even go down for a few weeks and meet with some chambers of commerce in the area to figure out what makes the most sense for my family. I love the area and the general hospitality of the locals. Feels a lot like my home in Iowa to me but it's out of this godforsaken climate. The heat doesn't bother me whatsoever.

I can tell you this. Regardless of anything you hear...steer clear of Killeen. The traffic isn't worth the hastle. It's got city traffic and city crime without all the city benefits of selection. If I wasn't from there, I wouldn't go back.
