In the state where I used to live, there were signs saying for traffic to use both lanes all the way up to the merge.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that if we did that and then people in the front alternated, things would move a lot faster.

People buying smokes at 7-11. God forbid the store run out of the brand the person buying wants. It always seems like it takes a good 5-7 minutes longer for the clerk to hunt down the desired camel crush hardpack that's in back. These are people I can do without. Oh and the people who have to buy seven different types of scratch off tickets can die in a fire.

There should be separate gas stations where lottery people have to go in order to get lottery tickets, or check them, or pick out 17 different scatchers tickets, or ask the clerk which means which, or fill out their "you pick the numbers" card, etc etc.
