Yeah, My parents were snowbirds there. Every year they would come home by mid-April, 1st of May cause it was just to hot to do anything outside. 100-115 just isn't pleasant.

You get used to it. With a pool and ac, it's really not an issue. It is weird, however, in July and August when it's 100 at midnight or later

Don't think I'd mind the heat at all, but the 70-75 lows in the summer here provide some nice relief. Long stretches of that kind of heat would probably suck after a while (for me, anyway).... but, I guess having the AC on for 3 straight months isn't much different than the 2-3 months of constant cold here in the winter and plus the long heat waves in the summer.
