You said they have 10 cb on their roster and none shake loose? I assume you meant 10 db. I can't see any team keeping 10 cb on a 53 man roster.

Before the chiefs can sign anyone they have to cut some people. Who is vulnerable to being cut?

I think we have an excellent position group of corners and don't see anyone they have there as worth adding to our roster even if they get cut and come straight to 1 arrowhead dr asking to mow lawns for a living. |

Looking forward to the research on GB, cause my ass is too lazy to do it myself.
But with 3 WRs in this draft, there almost certainly has to be one that shakes loose there.

Exactly what I'm looking for...WR Jeff Janis, 7th round flyer for the packers. May not make the 53 over obvious keepers Nelson, Cobb, Boykin, and higher drafted Abbrederis, so he's battling for the 5th WR spot on active roster. More likely they try to sqeeze him on the PS, and think we should pounce!

We have to be looking for veteran cuts that won't be required to go through the waiver process.

How about focusing on possible WR cuts?
Only team I see that might cut someone worth bringing in is GB or SF. Everyone else who drafted multiple WRs had bad WR cores to begin with. |

The rest of those guys are all under 3 years in the league, a few of them UDFA, and almost none of them have any real game experience. Jarrett Boykin caught 49 passes last year - his third in the league. Additionally, the Packers are $15M under the cap right now with no big contracts that need to be redone. All of their top 30 players are locked into TOTALLY AFFORDABLE deals through 2015. So, in summation, anyone who "shakes loose" from the Packers will do so, less like money shaking loose from your pocket, and more like a crumbly turd shaking loose from your asshole. |
