-- I personally challenge a CP'er to visit Lobb Cemetery in Blue Springs, Mo.
Yeah - apparently it's haunted.
However - Risky considering it's monitored by a neighbor. There'd need to be a plan in place. I'm not one to mess w/ the resting - however; I'm always overwhelmed by this sort of thing, if there's any validity to it. Anyone up for a little urban exploration? - if so; PM me and we can either set up a bump for this thread w/ pics and or video - or you can start a fresh one. Would anyone be up for this - I swear I'd do it if I lived there still. Lobb Cemetery Blue Springs, Mo 64014 Description: feeling of being watched, little boy seen, orbs of light apearing in pictures that wasnt there when visited. Just a few comments from said visitors: - watch out for the neighbor he came out and chased us with his truck on the very curvy roads but cool place for sure - -we took pictures and there was orbs everywhere - - this place has the feeling deff. i have also been up to this place investigating on april 2 yesterday and have recorded 3 either faces or full body apperitions of an old man and small boy and have recorded some orbs but orbs dont prove anything there was also a skeletal figure in on of my pics - We stopped here briefly and ran some audio. In the 30 minutes or so that we were there, we got several fairly loud EVP. One was a man saying (I think) "hello." Another was a very loud voice of a woman saying, "Oh God... (help me please)." Can't tell for sure because I was talking at the same time. The place is nice and quiet during the daytime. We were there during the day and we got results--there's no need to go there at night and risk getting an @$$load of buckshot. - A friend and I went to Lobb a couple months ago doing a report for a speech class proving that ghost are real. I know your not suppose to got there at night but we took the chance. We heard people say they feel like they are being watched so we were talking about how we didnt feel that way at all and then my friend was getting ready to say something and both of our heads turned in the same direction and saw a little boy glide towards us... we didnt say anything but run. When we got in the car we described the exact same thing. Theres were things I was thinking that she said and vise-versa. We went there the next morning to see if it was maybe a flag or something else blowing in the wind and we didnt see anything. I think for sure it was a ghost... i still get scared thinking about what i saw. - My friends and I have gone a few times. We have gotten out and gone in a couple times, but we have gotten plenty just sitting outside right at the fence or in out car. We have caught sounds of rythmic finger snapping, footsteps, and evp's of voices we are unable to make out along with an evp of something responding to something we are talking about by saying "yes", and a voice saying one of our names. A word of caution, I was there with 4 other friends. We got out of the car and were in the cemetery for about 30 mins, and a car drove up. They sat right beside our car for a few seconds, and then turned around and sat there again. We started to walk back and we heard "OH THEY'RE THEY ARE!" and they drove away. My personal feeling is to be more worried about what you'll encounter with the living than anything that may not be. - multiple informational links via google Last edited by Simply Red; 05-28-2014 at 10:37 PM.. |

I hear all of this talk - and admittedly it DOES look good on the forum. But I want pictures. Who is bold enough to do this shit and actually do it?!

It has to be at night or something? Because that one link says there's a sign out front and if you call the trustees that manage it, and tell them you want to walk through, they'll probably say ok.

Oh well that's cool, I'd definitely prefer the Jack Bauer approach - but the June Cleaver approach works as well.

Another visitor feedback:
I would say that from what we encountered tonight it felt like the surrounding woods more so then even the cemetery were the true bearers of unsettled energy. We heard the steady thumping of something like a drum and a voice that could best be described as robotic, both coming from the depths of the forest. Also, my sister swore she heard the whole of the woods breathe. http://momosparanormality.blogspot.c...-cemetery.html |

Yawn probably too boring. I've done it in a cemetery before and spent the night. They are peaceful I'll give them that.
