My parents always bought banana flips from the hostess outlet store. They were like tacos with "shells" made of cake and banana flavored cream filling inside. They were OK, but I'm over them. I prefer Ding Dongs.

Ding dongs are a whole different species. It's almost not fair to compare Ding Dongs to any other cake treats. I loved that semi-industrial choco-like coating.
