@mr_tomahawk It’s easy to fall in love with Bray’s arm. He has lots of natural talent.

@mr_tomahawk Chase has had some bad throws but it’s tough to really know how each is doing without all-22 film or a rewind button

I like it, Tomahawk.

You were wondering about Daniel and Bray reports. There were none. So you took action and got some created.

Props.

ask him if he could especially gauge the Bray vs Murray through out OTAs and TC when it's time to update reports.

Why? He's not getting cut or traded until the next offseason because of the cap hit. Trading him this year would get us less cap space next season. Plus Ford will more than likely still hit the rookie wall. Let him sub in his first year and keep Houston and Hali fresh.

Jenkins apparently hurt his hammy. I don't expect much from him at this point if he can't stay healthy. That's been part of his problem his entire career so far.

Jenkins was in the slot.

I think he tweaked a hammy today...

A transcript will show up soon, but here's what Reid said.
  • He acknowledged it's a business for why Houston isn't here, but emphasized they're voluntary workouts
  • A reporter asked if Flowers was told not to come to OTAs. Reid looked like he desperately wanted to call the dude a dumbass
  • Kelce is a wait-and-see issue. Sounds like the only thing the coaches know at this point is that he's not ready to come back to practice
  • Fisher will probably be back for training camp. Only thing doctors don't want him to do right now is jamming, but he's working on his feet and stuff for now.
  • Joe McKnight is here because of RB coach Eric Bienemy, basically. Reid says he's doing a nice job. Team has "done homework" on his injury and felt comfortable bringing him in
  • Reporter asked about DeMarcus Van Dyke... Reid said he's got speed; team thinks he's more suited to bump-and-run coverage, which he didn't do that much of at his previous stops, so they're excited to give him a chance. His cousin (the other dude named Van Dyke... don't know his name) is a former safety, and is working out at corner now. "Transition is going well."
  • When asked about the transition from sport to sport that guys like Harris are trying to make, Reid said that basketball is physical, but there's a difference between the two... football is more physical. "There's nobody blowing in your ear out here. I mean, I'm glad Lebron held back on that."
  • "If Lebron ever plays football, would you take a shot at him?" Reid: "Oh yeah. Lebron's my guy. I like Lebron. He's alright. Tough kid."
  • Something about the NFL donating money to research on player safety... Reid likes it
  • Sanders Commings and Berry (or maybe Barry is the name of one of the strength and conditioning coaches, I think that might be it, and not Eric Berry) have been practically joined at the hip in the weight room. Commings been getting stronger, so far he's been able to transfer that success in the weight room to the practice field pretty well
  • Asked about all the players consulting dieticians to get in better shape, Reid says, "That's where the game is going. Players understand more that their bodies are livelihoods that are making them money."
  • Reid likes Dressler in the slot, has good quickness, that's where he'll be for the Chiefs (Uh, yeah, okay duh)
  • Reid can't remember if there was ever a time where he kept four QBs on the roster. I assume this means it's probably out of the question for the final 53 man roster.
