Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

Anyone ever rebuild a pellet gun? Bought an old Crosman 2200 magnum .22 pellet gun a couple of weeks ago. It won't pump up and apparently needs overhauled. Bought the gun for 10 bucks and a kit is over 30 to refurbish it. Thought this would be a nice 2nd gun for my little grandson.

After Sandy Hook these things were impossible to find, or if you could find one they cost 400-1000 bucks each. Another thing to stock up on is Bolt and Carrier groups. Only a couple of factories produce them and they were impossible to find, too. At the very least, I can sit on the lowers and make some serious money when the next bad thing happens. |

I talked my self into a GSG after posting. Rationalizing is hell on me. "It's half price!" "Do I need it?" "My wife and kids will shoot it a lot" "****" On a side note, stay away from the SCAR .22 version. They SUCK. |

Really trying to talk myself out of buying a stripped blem lower. I know I don't "need" it but I do want to start a build.

Looks like PSA sold out of the blemished lowers already.
I forgot to mention that I bought a Sig Sauer M400 Enhanced earlier this week. I'll probably pick it up tomorrow from my dealer. http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProdu...-enhanced.aspx |

I don't know about their other products but I bought one of their .22 caliber 1911's while back. Can't hit the side of a barn with the damn thing. Not sure if I just got a rare lemon or what. Seems like I remember reading about a fix somewhere but haven't had time to jack with it.

Nice gun. The 1911 is probably my favorite handgun to shoot. That being said, when I do carry I usually pick up the glock. No external safeties. The chances of actually having to use it are pretty damn slim but I just think that if a shtf moment ever did occur where I was getting attacked or robbed I could forget to disengage the safety. Not good. That's just me though.

Picked up my new AR15. Won't get to test it out until 4th of July weekend at the earliest.
