He probably leaves, but I don't see him getting a crazy contract. He'll be 33 in December and teams aren't giving those guys crazy contracts for the most part. Maybe the Angels or Rangers over pay.. who knows. He probably gives you 2 more years as a stable top of the rotation guy.

He pitched 6 games in August and had a 2.95 ERA. He allowed 3 or less runs in all but one game pitching an average of 7 innings per start. Yeah, someone's not paying attention and that someone is you.

Lefty Relievers
Francisely Bueno. I know he's been really bad as of late, but I had no idea how bad. In 4 of his last 6 games, he gave up 2 runs per outing, averaging less than 1 inning over those 4 games (3.2 innings total). That's awful. I hope he can get back on track to where he was in mid season.
On to the next lefty, you say? Scott Downs(yndrome)....since coming off the DL with his broken vajajay. He's pitched in two games, 1 inning total, surrendered 3 hits, 1 ER and 1 BB. Yeah, we could really use an effective lefty in the pen. So, Who next? Well, the only guy left who's left is Brandon Finnegan. It would be a fantastic boost in the arm if this kid could be a lefty specialist, for the balance of the month, so we could punt Downs the **** out of town. Finnegan, at NWA, was tough against lefties. No ER's, .111 BA and a 0.56 WHIP. At Wilmington, he was even better. No ER's, no hits, 1 BB and a 0.21 WHIP. It's limited action in the Minors, but it's all pretty positive. I'd love to see this kid on the mound tonight, especially against lefties, if the opportunity presents itself.

I hope Dunn doesn't retire.
He's truly one of the good guys left. He's only 38 HRs away from 500. He's only 34 He wants to play for a winner |

I'd love to have him as the DH and spell Hosmer when needed. |

The Royals are a winner and likely will be in the near future unless some freak injuries happen. This is the 2nd year in a row they've been a good team. WS contender? Maybe with a few pieces like Dunn and replacing Shields production yes. This team has had shit at DH, RF, and 1st all year and is still tied for 1st in September some how.
