Hey, he's a big guy so they may fear for their life if he CHARGES the cop....OK, my sarcasm for Ferguson is still high because it's just more of the same bullshit thaf continues to happen as people are starting to see. I have long since said this is a serious problem. When civilians are getting off as well as the cops, wouldn't you be concerned too?

I wasn't trying to insinuate that your kid was a bad kid or anything. It's just that in my lifetime I've had interaction with police very seldom and only once outside of a traffic stop. I understand that everyone's life experiences are different, but I've never had a reason to fear the police and these recent incidents haven't made me change my thinking very much.

What happened to the cop? Did they sue? Was he charged? That is my approach, cooperate and live. Now hopefully people can understand why my heart rate goes up when I am being tailed or pulled over by a cop and I have no record at all......

It's been reality for as long as I can remember but I don't walk around with a chip on my shoulder about it. You just learn how to deal with it but people are getting bold again.....trying to take it back.....and I am concerned about it.

That's good advise, which would be hard to follow under some circumstances, but still solid advise.
