Heh. Not true. For better or worse, we run in circles where a lot of guys spend more money or as much money on their clothing as the women.

I, thankfully, haven't become one of those guys, but if I could own a badass suit for every day of the week, I'd do it.

I tend to just go with high dollar denim, nice shirts, and classic boots for the most part.

Oh, as for the color mixing: I have a pair of black waxed cotton J.brand jeans that I wear with.... BROWN boots on occasion. They actually look freaking good. However, when I go grey, I tend to dress in a lot of different shades of duotones. Light grey on dark grey on black. My wife does say that the brown/black barrier has been broken as of late, though... and she has a degree in fashion.
