According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

Another point that hasn't been touched on much, is the fact that the NFL & the Colts were tipped off by the Ravens prior to the game (Per Jay Glazer).

The Refs were going to check the balls at Halftime because of this, not because of Jackson. Jackson noticing it is simply icing on the cake. The NFL was already aware of it because the Ravens filed a complaint about it. Pats simply got caught.

It is more of the fact that they have been caught cheating multiple times for me.
A part of me still is questioning it all though. If it would make for no advantage, even if it is just in their minds, why do it at all?

Interesting being that Harbaugh thought they had cheated his team.

And to those saying it doesn't matter....

You're right, in regards to last Sunday's game. It probably had no impact on the game at all. And maybe your opinion is that because it probably had no impact on the game, then maybe it shouldn't be an issue.

That's stupid.

The other day i got a ****ing parking ticket outside my home because my tires weren't pinched to the curb on a very mild hill.

Granted, my car is an Automatic and has a ****ing Parking brake, so pinching the wheels, in my opinion, doesn't ****ing matter.

But to the City, i broke the law and now have to pay for it.

I have to pay for it, whether i think it's stupid or not.

So do the Pats.

There goes the "it didn't effect the outcome because it was a blowout" talking point. This clearly means that the Cheats also used this tactic during the Ravens game, which they only won by 4.

On to the next excuse, Cheat homers!

I am not sure which is the more stupid though. The ones that think it made a difference or the ones that though it made enough difference to actually deflate 11 out of 12 footballs.
