According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

If a baseball player uses steroids but it doesn't help his game at all, doesn't improve his statistics at all, does he avoid getting punished because there was no actual benefit? No, the attempt to cheat is the crime... it doesn't matter if there was an actual benefit derived from it.

So as some know, Belichick categorically stated that he knew nothing about it. While I agree that he can be a curmudgeon, a sore loser, a complete dick to the media sometimes, about as warm and fuzzy as a porcupine, and understand why some would argue he's an evading, cheating scumbag, nobody who knows him thinks he is a liar.

Everything in Spygate was deflection, not lying.

Tim Hasselbeck, former NFL QB and brother of Matt Hasselbeck, said on the radio that he was on 8 teams, and every team had the same thing when it came to the footballs -- they were the exclusive domain of the quarterbacks.

So if fingers are to be pointed here, looks like it might be Tom. Next is the 4:00 p.m. presser.

It has to actually hit your radar to obsess over them right? If the NFL culture is that the quarterbacks do whatever they want with the footballs to get them ready for the game, is the coach really going to argue about it with him? Would you tell a QB that he should like his footballs different than what he likes?

Tom Coughlin is as obsessive as Belichick, and there was an extensive story of how Eli Manning preps his footballs. It wasn't about Coughlin at all.

This has clearly hit a nerve with you... which can be explained by the fact you only became a Patriots fan when Bill Belichick and Tom Brady started winning Super Bowls.

Here is the question for you... if every other team in the NFL has to follow certain rules, why are the Patriots exempt?

Also provide evidence that the Giants played with deflated footballs.

Provide the exact game or games where this happened.

Yes because Tom Brady or any player or employee on the Patriots is allowed to do something without Bill Belichick having advance knowledge of it.

This idea is so laughable considering everything that has been well documented about how much of a control freak Belichick is.

The Belichick defenders attempt to push this narrative is beyond laughable.
