Had Dartgod in class this week.

So far I think that's about half a dozen planeteers I've had the pleasure of meeting at work. This week it was Lync 2013.

I am going to recommend this to my team. Especially the guy in Mayberry.

Would you mind providing the brand?

This is the signal booster that I have in my home. My Netgear wireless router in on the first floor of our home and the TP Link is on the third floor. The TP Link distributes four bars to the top floor and also extends to our patio. It's simple to set up as well.

Good luck to you and your client!

At first I was unimpressed with Lync, but it is pretty solid now. I just had to make fun of training on it, though I did expect it to be at the architect level.

Ah. Thank you sir. That extends the signal, not really "boost" it. Like a coupler. Good for a larger home with a lesser router. Say a 150 vs. 300.

Ah, I see. The previous model I had was a Diamond Multimedia 300Mbps 802.11n Wireless Range Extender - WR300N, but it went kaput in less than a year.

I've had at least seven different wireless routers in the past 12 years in my home, with the current Netgear AC1450 being the best of the bunch. Coupled with the TP Link and we've had nary an issue.

I upgraded a large enterprise to Lync 2013. Didn't get any damn training. You'll figure it out situation.

It's actually a pretty good tool. Love the integration.

don't know nothing about Lync, but there's two crusty-assed old posters that i'd be proud to roll with.

kick either one in the ass and dust would blow out their ears.
nice thread.

When I got to my previous job a couple years ago we were at LCS 2005. I got us upgraded to Lync 2013 last year. That was kind of a pain in the ass.

Braincase was a great instructor. We didn't make the Chiefsplanet connection until the 3rd day of training. I met him once several years ago at a planet gathering. The first day I thought he looked familiar. I even wondered if it was Braincase but felt stupid asking him that in case I was wrong.
Cool. How many pools do you have? How do you handle load balancing (hardware or DNS)?

The persistent chat rooms were a pretty cool upgrade from 2010 > 2013.
