I guess this is as good of a game as any for my first gameday thread. I hope I don't screw up the victory.

Let's hope Guthrie can build on his last start and get our starting pitching woes turned around. Here is to a series split and a little momentum going into our next series featuring two divisional first place teams.

Sad to say it, but the window to extend Hosmer and Moustakas is gone.

They might - MIGHT - have been able to extend Hosmer for one year before last season or this season, paying him extra during arb, and betting on him putting it together.

Now? No shot unless they're willing to pay market value.

Moustakas is still a little bit of a possibility, but I doubt it happens now, either.

Love this pen. Love this team.

And man, that MVP pick by one duncan_idaho is looking good right now, eh?

Right now, Hosmer is everything he was scouted to be in the minors. Here's to a full season of that!

we'll be close to that TV money in 2018 so I could see them maybe dishing out ONE big contract, perhaps

Don't expect him to go 3-2 to a #9 guy let alone walk him, on any pitch
