Woodson
Lott
Sanders
apparently Lebeau was pretty good
You'd have to list a few 2-way guys, though it'd be hard to tell whether they were known for their play on D or O (like Baugh, Thorpe)

(I have to take other peoples' word on some of this, as I didn't pay attention to DBs when I was younger)

So, let's hear how the "theory" tested out!

Now, since I did yours, let's do LBers, Dlinemen, and WRs, shall we?

Well since we were discussing DB's in regards to KU 2007 vs Miami 2001 I would think you've done well.

Thanks

I'm not sure you even know what "the issue" was. I am sure that you are the living embodiment of "ignorance is bliss."

PB made the correlation between NFL success and collegiate success in regards to skill of football defensive backs.

You attempted to debunk this by injecting collegiate success with NFL success in regards to quarterbacks. You were given the QBs and after you thought you had won some kind of menial argument you were shown just how little you know about football when I proved that the same "theory" doesn't apply with defensive backs.

I thought that was the end of it.

You're saying there's more?

I guess that is the end of it. Once again, you prove for all to see that you have no idea of how football works.

I'm always impressed how pompous someone so obviously outmatched can act. You have that going for you, kid.

I hope, for kU's sake, you did not go to school there (just kidding, we all know you didnt.)

The only thing you're outmatching is the voice inside your head.

It's gotten boring. There's only so many ways to prove to someone that they are either wrong, or lying, and I think we've hit for the cycle in that respect.
But as soon as I think that, one of them will say something incredibly dumb (a top 5 recruiting class can only mean a top 5 team!!!), or make some ridiculous comparison (Success as a pro is the only way to tell how good a college player was!/!!), or just lie (kU players are more successful in the NFL!!!), and I get sucked in again. It's really my fault...

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/st...member-schools

SEC conference revenue at record $435M and will payout over $31M to each individual school.

I still don't see the bragging and chest thumping point of these arguments on here...I personally care more about how my team does and not whether or not they made a shit ton of money. But I suppose it should still be noted.

For the record, the Big 12 revenue for the 2013-2014 year was $221M, or 51% of what the SEC was. Didn't see any numbers for this past year yet.

Yeah, that was brutal. The way she sat there on her butt with her arms outstretched after getting hit made me think that she got knocked blind. Maybe she was for a few moments. Scary stuff.
