Justin Houston Contract Rumor...

Yeah, yeah.. Bleacher report.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...ey-from-chiefs

Says Justin Houston wants a JJ Watt type contract from the Chiefs. Watt signed a six year 100 million deal with Houston.

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/houston-texans/j.j.-watt/

Those numbers actually seem fairly reasonable, assuming Houston keeps at his trade. Probably ends up being a little bit less guaranteed, but I could certainly live with that salary cap hit year-by-year.

DT played on the left side at times, as well. So did LT. They all have.

WHAT? DT has Smith and some very good interior rushers his entire career.

He also drops into coverage more than most pass rushers, so it evens out. It's too bad you don't know what you're talking about.

In your opinion....you thought that Siler was a great tackler and that McCluster was quicker than Charles.

Your opinion is worthless.

I still think Weatherman's right on this. I'm just saying that penbrook's nfl.com link doesn't exactly say what he claims it said.
Oh trust me, there is still work to be done; just taking the positive reinforcement approach and seeing if that gets us anywhere, since we know ragging on him has done nothing.

god damn man. If you arent failing at trolling you are failing at football.

Houston is arguably the best defensive player on the league. Deal with it.

If that were true he wouldn't have had twenty sacks. He wants to be paid as a pass rusher. That is his argument for Watt money. Coverage isn't even relevant. If Sutton dropped him back more than other pass rushers, he would be on the street.

I don't agree. I think the top 100 was pretty accurate in Houston's case. He was the 9th best defensive player.

"Houston’s dominance was as a pass rusher, but he still graded positively as both a run defender (+8.1) and in coverage (+1.4). That means that throughout his career Houston has only graded negatively in one facet of the game over the course of a season once; his coverage grade during his rookie season. In 2014 he dropped into coverage 158 times.."

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Did Parcell's drop LT into coverage more than any other pass rusher? Are you serious? His job is to wreak havoc in the backfield. Not be Derrick Brooks.

Shit like this is why people cant take you seriously. Combine it with your mental baggage, and you wonder why you cant make it two weeks without a ban.

Your inability to see he's 1/4 Brooks, 1/4, Hardy Nickerson, and 1/2 DT is your failing.

That's what he is.

He is - BY FAR - the best OLB in the game...
