Justin Houston Contract Rumor...

Yeah, yeah.. Bleacher report.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...ey-from-chiefs

Says Justin Houston wants a JJ Watt type contract from the Chiefs. Watt signed a six year 100 million deal with Houston.

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/houston-texans/j.j.-watt/

Those numbers actually seem fairly reasonable, assuming Houston keeps at his trade. Probably ends up being a little bit less guaranteed, but I could certainly live with that salary cap hit year-by-year.

WTF is wrong with you people? They replaced Grubbs with McGlynn. Did you like McGlynn? He sure has a nasty attitude in the trenches. Was that the kind of new talent and attitude they were looking for?

I'm fine with anything that doesn't destroy our ability to keep players like Sean Smith and Dontari Poe (if they warrant it) next season.

The Saints ****ed up their cap by signing busts like Jarius Byrd. They had too many big contracts and had to lighten up.

Having said that, I think they had a very good draft this year, and I also like Brandin Cooks/Stanley Jean-Baptiste.

They are definitely reloading. Poor Brees.

I like Sean Smith as much as the next guy, but the guy turned 28 today and he doesn't have a lot of speed that he can afford to lose. We've drafted the last two years in preparation for the loss. Gaines, Peters, and Nelson are the plan.

They also have Jahri Evans, Max Unger and Senio Kelemete pegged as their interior starters although Zach Strief may move inside to allow Andrus Peat to play right tackle.

More and more teams are going for the "We'll play our best five guys" mantra than just sticking guys at their traditional positions.

I agree. And college offensive lineman nowadays are playing multiple positions to help their draft evaluation. Versatility goes a long way in the NFL.

The Tender can be signed anytime before the season starts if they don't work out a new contract.

Once he signs the tag, he can't skip camp iirc. I doubt he's here to do that
