15 Bowl wins > 6 Bowl wins. 31 Bowl appearances > 12. Not sure really how else to slice it. In this day and age, bowl wins obviously mean a lot less than they used to, however it's a nice gauge to see where your program is at on a year-to-year basis. Missouri has 5 10-win seasons in 8 years. Does that make them Alabama? No, but they are in the next tier of solid programs that perform at a high level year after year.
