If true Texas would be leaving a $20M annual check on the table. They'd have to replace that as an independent and the LHN puts doubt into their ratings appeal.

Makes it much easier for a school like Kansas to move to whichever conference they want. If in fact the writing is on the wall that once the GOR is over there will be no conference KU will likely take the best offer from the other 4 conferences.

That conf would help pay any legal fees associated with breaking the GOR. At least that's what CT said.

Not sure what you're waiting for. All the evidence points to the Big 10 trying to add Kansas and Kansas not being interested and choosing to stay committed to their conference brethren.

Mizzou actively begged the Big 10 and were ignored. They then turned their attention to the SEC once word was out that they would have to come back to the Big 12 with their tail between their legs (no pun intended). The SEC saw a great opportunity for a school with lots of TV sets and weak athletic teams.

Regardless it's nice to have options now.

I've got bad news for the Hardly Boys.. The state of Kansas views them and KState as a package. My best bet is that those 2 end up in a conference with UCF.

Probably one of the reasons Kansas said no to the Big 10 before.

However unfortunately for KSU eventually that help just isn't going to be there forever.

Kansas was a top 25 revenue athletic program in 2015. That's higher than KSU, Iowa State, Missouri, Nebraska, Wichita State, etc...

I hope that in the end ISU and KSU remain playing alongside Kansas, hopefully they find a way to work it out.
