1 run through 9 innings against a guy making his 2nd start and had an era of around 13 in the minors against Memphis.

And Carp is now on pace to strike out 1,000,000 x either this season or this game, I think they are both the same.

Mabry at least has to be a sacrificial lamb because this offense is ugly.

And I feel Siegrist has been way overused this year.

Beat one of the worst teams in the NL by 2 runs in the 10th.

We sweep these DB's I will feel better but 3 runs against a stack of 2AA pitchers isn't a reason to throw a party.

Come on man you know how this works, who is the hottest at playoff time wins the trophy. I was there when we won in 2006. We had no business even making the playoffs. We sucked it up big time in Sept.

2011 we sucked it up big time all year until after August. I was there when we played an extra game just to even make it into the tournament.

We may go down in flames spectacularly in the playoffs but we have the pitching and bullpen to win it all. We put Holliday in at #3 and some how get the cortisone shots quadrupled into Grichuks elbow where he can throw a ball into the infield, we are a different team offensively.

Grichuk if he gets on one of his streaks can carry us all the way to the trophy in the same way Freese did.
