George, didn't Pioli stack the deck against him? Palko was what Scooter gave him. Not like Haley had much to choose from. Plus, by that time wasn't Haley effectively giving Pioli the ol' 1 finger salute? Haley had some fire in him and was learning how to be a head coach when Pioli threatened to fire him if he didn't win an early season game (something like second game of Haley's last season?). Haley never had a chance.
