And this only applies to Carr and Couch. It's hard to know if they were that bad because of it.

I didn't watch Couch much, but David Carr was terrible, and he made his O-Lines look far worse than they were.

The season that the Texans signed Shaub, the same O-Line, with one "upgrade", Jordan Black, commonly referred to a "I-70" in Kansas City, gave up half as many sacks as they did the previous season with Carr at QB.

Alex Smith is slow on his progressions, but I am not sure that Carr even ever heard of the concept.
