From my perspective, it looks like the coaching staff feels that Smith is better than the other QB's on the roster. He's the starter. They aren't. They had the chance to beat him out. They didn't. There you go.

So what are your other alternatives?

Coaching staff is going to force it because they traded two 2nd round picks for him and are paying him a lot of money. They don't want to look bad but if they look at the film and see all of the shit he misses, they would swallow their pride and admit that we are going to fall short with this QB, as always. I want him to show me something but his vision is horrible. I want to be wrong about Smith but I can't take it any more. He plays too scared.
